Affirmations when emotionally charged and worded correctly can access the creative power of your mind and manifest your desires. Some say affirmations don't work or affirmations help them just a teeny weeny bit and just for a short span of time.

The bottom line is, they tend to stop saying their affirmations, and some create affirmations where thoughts and emotions aren't in total agreement or not synchronize with what they really want to create in their lives. They definitely won't get results!

Affirmations don't operate on the same level, they are not equal. Some affirmations take a longer to time to have an impact in your life. If you want to earn a large stream of income, it's not going to happen magically overnight. It does not fall from the sky and fall on your lap.

Affirmations helps you create the changes you want in your life and helps you to be always on a positive mental and emotional state. The law of attraction works through your affirmations, it creates opportunities to meet people, and create convenient circumstances that will help you achieve your goals. You must be open to all the possibilities and opportunities being presented to you. You have to act on it and do something about it.

How do you make affirmations work? How do I make it happen?


Learn these steps to affirm effectively:

1. Affirmations must be stated in the present tense.

If you affirm, "I WILL have a job promotion" or "I WILL be rich in the near future", "I HOPE I'm well and I will be healed", or " I'm going to have a wonderful relationship", you are conditioning your mind that you will achieve your goals in the INDEFINITE FUTURE. You are already stating that it is beyond your control, and you are giving yourself more than fifty percent of doubt that it will not happen.

2. Create Positive Statements


Be in the "NOW", state it as if it is presently happening in your life. It rejects negative thought process and replaces it with powerful positive thoughts and emotions. Therefore, you are harnessing the secret law of attraction to bring you the desires of your heart, NOW.

Replace those wrong affirmations with :
  • I'm now promoted, and I'm ecstatic!
  • I'm now rich, and living an abundant life!
  • My relationship is wonderful and I'm radiating love.
  • The light of God is healing me right now
  • I am healed and I'm full of energy
3. Gear away from negative affirmations that sounds like good statements like:
  • I'm not weak
  • I'm never late
  • I'm out of debt
  • I'm no longer suffering
Though it means well, but it creates a whole lot of negative images. When you say 'I'm not weak', the word 'WEAK' itself subconsciously creates an image of WEAKNESS, 'LATE' creates an image of being 'TARDY' always, 'DEBT' creates and image of being 'POOR', and 'SUFFERING' creates an image of being 'SICK', 'DESPERATE', and 'HOPELESS'.


Replace it with:

  • I'm healthy, active, and strong
  • I'm always early
  • I'm wealthy and abundant
  • I'm am well, contented, blessed, and happy
4. K.I.S.S - Keep it Short and Specific


Keeping it short and specific will make you remember your affirmations easily. It gives immediate power to your goals and imprints easily to your subconscious mind. Long and wordy affirmations clutters your thoughts and in the end you lose focus in your struggle to remember what you want to say.

In order for affirmations to work, it should be highly charged with emotions. It makes you emotionally connected to your goals and in turn reach deeply to the limitless power of your subconscious mind. The easiest way to charge your emotions positively, is to feel happy. Think of the happiest times of your life, observe that your mood shifts and you feel good, then you can say your affirmations highly charged with happy feelings.

Positive affirmation is a great tool to heighten your personal power. It helps you achieve your goal and eliminate negative thought patterns. Positive affirmations are positive statements you repeat to yourself until they impress or penetrate your subconscious mind.

Affirmations are either done mentally, verbally or written down. These statements are repeated over and over again until this inner conversation affects your subconscious mind, accepts it, then releases an awesome personal power to materialize your intentions, and desires.

Affirmation is neutral, it works positively, and negatively. It creates mental images, and likewise evoke emotions. Your thoughts and feelings can drastically change through the use of affirmations. It has a dual power, it can either build or destroy. It can make or break you.

Positive affirmations are words that help you focus and keep you on track to accomplish your goals. They are like instructions you feed your mind. It is so powerful that it influences your attitude, and behavior.

Emotions and Feelings

Think of pleasant memories right now. Give your self time to remember and relish those moments.

How do you feel?

Did you feel happy, alive and your mood lifted?

Did you just smile or laugh out loud when you thought of those moments?

Congratulations! You just easily created a phenomenal vibrational frequency. In fact you are now sending the universe a message to bring you more moments of the same magnitude. What you think and feel right know, YOU ATTRACT. You are now magnetizing people and circumstances in perfect tune to what you are feeling right now. This is the Law of Attraction in motion.

It's impossible to feel bad when you feel good. You can't harness both kind of feelings at the same time. There is no room for sadness, anger, desperation and loneliness when you are ecstatic and joyful.

Thoughts don't feel. Thoughts merely tells us what we are feeling.


If you think of beautiful experiences, your feelings create an emotion of happiness.
If you think of sickness, your feelings create an emotion of hopelessness and despair.
If you think of betrayal, your feelings create an emotion of pain, anger and loneliness.


If you constantly feel you are poor and suffering, your telling the universe to bring you more events and people that will make you suffer. It's like saying 'I want and demand more of that poverty and suffering right now!"

But if you dwell on thoughts and emotions of love and abundance, you nurture and hold on to that feeling, you are telling the universe to bring you more people and circumstances that will give you more of that abundance in love and money.

The universe is simply your mirror. It reflects back to you everything that you let the universe perceive. The Universal Law of Attraction sees you as a powerful magnet, it sees you through your vibrational frequency derived from your own thoughts and emotions.

Emotion is your magnificent alarm system. Your own emotions warn you of what you are thinking and what you are focusing in your mind.

Emotion is your navigational tool. It readily indicates if you are on the right track. It is your mighty helper that shifts, and navigates you towards your goal and desires.

Thoughts must be fired up with emotion in order to successfully attract whatever you want to have in your life. It is just like electrical tools, appliances or instruments alike, these things are useless without electricity to power it up.

Through our feelings, emotions, and thoughts we become super magnets. We magnetize the events and experiences which match what we are feeling and thinking. To change undesirable experiences, we have to change our feelings.

To change your feelings, you have to :

- Affirm and Visualize

- Meditate and pray

- Believe in yourself and your abilities

- Expecting Success

Thoughts and emotions are the creators of your life. What you have become, and what you are right now, you created it through your thoughts and emotions that you put into action.

You create and mold your own reality.
The decisions and choices you made, and you are about to make are the results of your thoughts, and feelings. Consciously altering your thought patterns will surely improve, reshape, transform and bring endless miracles into your life.

Negative Thoughts

Having negative thoughts really could make you more illness-prone, say scientists.

A study in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences links "negative" brain activity with a weakened immune system.

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison studied people with high levels of brain activity in a region linked to negative thoughts.

Those with the highest activity levels responded worse to a flu vaccine.

Scientists already knew that pessimists - people rated as more sensitive to negative events - show more activity in a part of the brain called the right pre-frontal cortex.

More activity in the left pre-frontal cortex is linked to positive emotional responses.

Happy thoughts

Dr Richard Davidson, who led the research, studied 52 people aged between 57 and 60.

Each of them was asked to recall one event which made them feel very happy, and one which left them feeling sad, afraid or angry.

The electrical activity in these parts of the brain was measured to check whether their left or right pre-frontal cortex was more active.

Afterwards, each volunteer was given a standard flu vaccine shot.

Vaccines work by eliciting an immune response which should hopefully persist and help the body tackle a genuine infection threat if it should arrive.

Each research subject was tested over the following six months to gauge the success of the vaccine by measuring the levels of antibodies generated by the vaccine.

Those who had shown the most powerful right pre-frontal cortex activity also had the worst immune reactions.

The reverse was true for those who had the most powerful reactions in their left pre-frontal cortex, the side associated with happy reactions.

Dr Davidson said:

"Emotions play an important role in modulating bodily systems that influence our health."

"We turned to the brain to understand the mechanisms by which the mind influences the body."
